Terms & Policies

The following are the terms and policies of WatershipDownMerch.co.uk (aka DeguArts™). By making a purchase online or in-person, you are agreeing to these terms.

Use of Artwork

  1. You are not allowed to use or reproduce my work in any way without prior permission. This includes personal, for-profit, removing signatures/watermarks, reposting/sharing without credit, non-fungible tokens (NFT), AI (training or otherwise), or any other medium.
  2. Purchasing a product from me does not grant any rights to the artwork, or any part of the design.

Shop

  1. Platforms:
  2. Processing Time:
    1. For in-stock shop items, it may take me 1-5 business days to package your items. This time does not include shipping (typically 5-8 business days within the mainland USA).
    2. Print-on-demand, third-party vendors, membership, and crowdfunding services will have different timelines, please check with those services for shipping details.
  3. Preorders:
    1. Orders with preorder items in them will not be shipped until all preorder items arrive. If you would like them shipped separately, please place separate orders.
  4. Packaging:
    1. In an effort to provide recyclable and reusable packaging, your item may arrive without additions such as backing cards, cello bags, etc. Any packaging you receive should be able to be recycled or reused!
    2. I am unable to provide gift wrapping or gift labels for items.
  5. Pricing:
    1. In-person events will have the lowest prices and special deals not available online.
    2. Website shop prices will always be lower than Etsy. Etsy is able to ship to countries I otherwise couldn't due to various tax laws, however I have had to increase my prices on Etsy due to their fee structure.
    3. Online sales will have varying discount amounts. Typically the prices on my website shop will be discounted more than on Etsy as well. Sales do not apply at in-person events. Sale percentage advertised on social media may only apply to in-shop items, and discounts may not be as big or not apply to external sites.
  6. Shipping Cost:
    1. Some items (such as pressed pennies) may seem like they have a high shipping cost. Per USPS regulations, pressed pennies can cause problems with the sorting machines if shipped in a standard envelope. I ship using padded bubble mailers or boxes, which have a higher shipping cost but guarantee your items will arrive without damage and with tracking.
    2. The only items I ship via a regular flat envelope are stickers. This shipping method may not have tracking.
  7. USA Shipping:
    1. I usually ship items using USPS Ground Advantage or First-Class Mail. I am not responsible for delays caused by USPS or your local post office.
    2. I offer free USA shipping on orders over $35 USD or on sticker-only orders. This will be automatically applied to your order.
    3. If you happen to live in Colorado, or are visiting an event I will be vending at, pickup can be arranged.
  8. International Shipping:
    1. If you are outside of the USA, please use Etsy to order, or contact me directly for shipping options!
    2. Customs and import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to ordering from me. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
    3. I cannot hide item values or mark as a "gift" on custom forms. USA and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
    4. I am unable to ship plush or children's toy items outside of the USA at this time.
    5. Unfortunately as an independent artist, I am unable to meet the tax or shipping law needs of the EU, EEA, and Northern Ireland and cannot ship there. I hope this changes in the future, thank you for your understanding!
  9. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds:
    1. I will accept returns or exchanges of unopened or damaged merchandise. Please contact me if you have any problems with your order within 15 days of delivery!
    2. I cannot offer refunds due to shipping delays. I am not responsible for delays due to the post office as they are out of my control, but I will help communicate with postal services.
    3. Refunds or returns are not accepted for digital products. Digital products are for personal use only and should not be shared or distributed outside of your household.
    4. Refunds or returns are not accepted at in-person events.
  10. Safety and Materials:
    1. My products are not designed for and should not be given to children (unless otherwise specified with specific safety testing).
    2. Please be aware some products (i.e., pins) contain sharp parts. My products may also contain small components that could put you or others at risk of choking if swallowed. These products should be stored out of reach of babies and children.
    3. Materials range from recycled wood, metal, or acrylic, cotton or polyester, vinyl or paper, and various others. If you have specific questions regarding the materials of a product, please contact me.

Accessibility

  1. Watership Down Merch strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. I have tried to help ensure that my website and in-person booths are made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
  2. I will continue my efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of this site and my services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use for those of us with disabilities.

Privacy Policy

  1. Information Collected:
    1. When you place an order or contact me, I may collect your: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and items you have purchased. I do not see or store your full credit card number. Payments are handled by secure third-party processors.
    2. When you visit the site, basic technical data may also be collected, such as: your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited. This helps keep the site working and lets me understand what people are viewing.
  2. Information Usage:
    1. Your information is used only to: process and ship your orders, send order updates and support replies, receive email newsletters if you opted-in, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve the website. I do not sell or rent your personal information.
    2. This site uses Cloudflare (security and site performance). These services may collect limited technical data (like IP address or browser type) to do their job.
  3. Cookies:
    1. This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser. However, disabling some cookies may break some areas of the website.
  4. Your Rights:
    1. You can ask me at any time to: see what personal data I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Please contact me and I will be happy to assist!
